70 Crimean Tatars Defending Ukraine Awarded With Medals “For Devotion to Islam and Ukraine”

On Defender of Ukraine Day (14 October), Kyiv Culture and Art Centre Krymskiy Dim, in cooperation with Union of Crimean Tatar Veterans Qırım Ğazi, Museum of Architecture and Everyday Routines Pyrohiv and supported by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, held a great event on honouring the Crimean Tatar warriors and veterans of war with Russia.

Mufti Said Ismagilov came to congratulate the heroes on behalf of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine “Umma. He read out the order of awarding as many as seven dozen of Crimean Tatar warriors and veterans with medals  “For Devotion to Islam and Ukraine”, and handed them letters of acknowledgement.
