Mufti and the Crimean Tatars’ leader awarded the Muslim warriors
In Kyiv, on the occasion of the Armed Forces’ Day of Ukraine, Krymskiy Dim organisation (“Crimean House” NGO) hosted a great event to award Crimean Tatar veterans and participants of war in the East of Ukraine.
Crimean Tatar warriors, People's Deputies of Ukraine, military chaplains, and cultural figures were among those who attended the awarding event.
Mustafa Dzhemilev, the Crimean Tatar people’s leader, Said Ismagilov, the mufti of Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine “Umma”, and Rustem Khalilov, Qırım Ğazi NGO’s chairman delivered welcoming remarks.
Sheikh Said emphasized on the date of December 6, the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine, we honor all men and women who defend the independence and territorial integrity of our country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
― A person defended with arms his/her family, children, country, Motherland deserves our respect, our love. Thanks to Krymskiy Dim management for giving us the opportunity to gather here and honor our defenders. Today we, inshallah, honor those men and women who defended Ukraine ― all involved [in safeguarding] our peaceful life here, in Kyiv, and other cities of Ukraine...
Refat Chubarov, the Chairman of Crimean Tatar people’s Mejlis congratulated the warriors via a video message.
The Ukrainian Muslims’ Military Chaplains Directorate, which assists all Muslim military personnel, prepared the presentation for the award.
